We believe that medical education is all about love. Love that empowers others, embraces the uniqueness of different personalities, cultivates patience and understanding, and, above all, enables our learners to recognize that their fears, interests, and goals do matter.
Therefore, as we train our residents to become compassionate physicians capable of providing culturally humble care to our diverse patient population, we also teach them to be kind and compassionate to themselves and each other.

We cherish diversity in experiences and identity, including age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, education, physical abilities, sexual orientation, and other distinguishing traits. Nothing can encourage ongoing diversity better than established diversity. Our monthly 'diversity celebration' includes a presentation by one or several members of our residency family sharing history, culture, food, and healthcare information from a culture they have been a part of at some point in their life.

Our goal is to train tomorrow's doctors to be leaders in clinical innovation, transformative medical education, and patient-centered care.
Our versatile program promotes these values by offering the opportunity to elect into categorical or primary care programs as well as medical career tracks designed to foster individualized career goals, provide distinct clinical experience, and prepare our residents for a career in primary care, hospital medicine, or subspecialty fellowships. As a result, our graduates are afforded the opportunity to excel in competitive fellowship programs and career placements of their liking.
