Continuing Interprofessional Education
We are a nationally accredited provider of continuing education for the entire team of health care professionals.
- We offer clinical practicums for baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral-level nursing students at affiliated schools of nursing.
- The Nurse Residency Program trains new Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree nurse graduates who have never worked as a LPN or RN.
We offer four pharmacy residencies—two PGY1 programs and two PGY2 programs—through our affiliations with the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science, and Western New England University College of Pharmacy and Health Science
Clinicals and Internships in Allied Health Professions
Baystate's educational partnerships allow us to offer clinical experiences for allied health students such as:
- child life specialists
- phlebotomy technicians
- genetic counselors
- Baystate Undergraduate Programs (previously Summer Student Scholars) are 10-week summer programs for local college students interested in a career in the health field.
High School Students
- Mini-Medical School helps members of our community make more informed decisions about all aspects of their health care.
