Continuing Interprofessional Education
Baystate Health is accredited to provide continuing education programs for all members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and psychologists.
Our mission is to provide learning opportunities that promote optimal health care delivery for all persons responsible for the health and well-being of patients and the community.
Program information and registration is now available on our learning management system (Ethos CE) at education.baystatehealth.org.
- Regional conferences on topics such as, victims' rights, patient experience, practical pediatrics and surgical technology
- In-house grand rounds, department lectures, and other regularly scheduled series
All programs welcome community providers.

We have a new virtual planning tool—an online form called the Course Application. (Log in is required to access the form.)
You must submit the Course Application no fewer than 90 days before the course start date.

American Heart Association Certification Courses
Baystate American Heart Association Training Center offers AHA Certification Courses, such as ACLS, BLS/HCP, BLS Heartcode, PALS and PEARS.
Baystate Faculty Development
Our Office of Faculty Affairs offers a number of faculty development opportunities.
In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. (Joint Accreditation Certificate)
Baystate Health is an approved provider of continuing education through the National Board for Certified Counselors and Affiliates, Inc. (NBCC)
Baystate Health is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Baystate Health maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
