Pediatric Pulmonology

Expert Care for Your Child’s Lung Disease – Close to Home

Kids love being on the go, running, jumping, and playing. Lung problems that make it hard to breathe can take some of the fun out of being a kid. Lung specialists at Baystate Pediatric Pulmonology can help.

Board certified pediatric lung specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, social workers, and child-life specialists work together to diagnose and treat your child’s lung problem, developing individualized treatment plans.

The majority of the care we provide is on an outpatient basis at Baystate Children’s Specialty Center. This special place is designed around the unique needs of children and families.

Excellent Inpatient Care

Baystate provides top notch care in a convenient location with state-of-the-art technology.

In-Hospital Breathing Care

If your child does need inpatient care for breathing problems, Baystate Children’s Hospital located within Baystate Medical Center offers a dedicated unit for infants and children, and another for adolescents and young adults. In case of emergencies, we also provide the region’s only pediatric emergency department, the Sadowsky Family Pediatric Emergency Department.
