For questions or appointment requests

Our team of board-certified pediatric neurologists, pediatric neurology nurses, and other experts work together to diagnose your child’s neurological condition and provide the best possible care.

Rest assured that Baystate Children’s Hospital is equipped with the latest technology designed especially for infants, toddlers, adolescents, and young adults. We can evaluate, diagnose, and treat your child’s neurological problem to help your child recover or improve.

Expert Neurological Care for Your Child

Our pediatric neurology specialists use electroencephalography (EEG) and other appropriate equipment to diagnose and make recommendations for babies, children, and teens who may have a neurological disorder.

Neurology Conditions We Treat

  • Epilepsy
  • Muscular dystrophy and other myopathies
  • Narcolepsy and neuro-related sleep disorders
  • Neurodegenerative disorders
  • Tourette’s syndrome and movement disorders
  • And more

We also provide neurological consultations for pregnant women whose babies may face neurological issues.

Advanced Treatment Technology

Baystate Children’s Hospital is home to the region’s only outpatient EEG (electroencephalogy) facility designed for children of all ages, located within our practice at the Baystate Children’s Specialty Center.

Your child’s EEG – a test that measures brain activity – is done by a pediatric EEG technician, without sedation. We offer inpatient video and ambulatory EEG monitoring for selected patients.

Most of the care we provide is on an outpatient basis. If needed, our child-life specialists are onsite to help make your child’s experience as stress-free as possible.

We also provide pediatric sleep evaluations for babies, children, and teens in the Baystate Neurodiagnostics & Sleep Center – the only facility in the area with specially-trained experts to perform sleep studies on children of all ages, including infants.
