It’s the coincidence of all coincidences.
When Kelly Cooley of Westfield gave birth on Tuesday at 3:16 p.m. at the height of Winter Storm Stella, she and her husband, Adam, named their baby appropriately – Stella. But, it really had nothing to do with the storm.
“We were going to name our first baby, Stella, if it had been a girl, but we had a boy 13 months ago and called him Bo,” said Kelly, who went into labor at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning as it started to snow.
Baby Stella, born at Baystate Medical Center's Wesson Women and Infants' Unit, weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz. and is 20 inches long. With few surprises in life today, the Westfield couple did not want to know the sex of their baby ahead of time.
