If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or concerns about COVID-19 exposure, please do not visit the hospital. Instead, call for medical guidance. (In a life-threatening emergency, always call 9-1-1 or go to your closest ED.)

About Baystate Wing Hospital
Baystate Wing Hospital offers a broad range of medical, surgical, and psychiatric services. Our expanded, comprehensive Emergency Department (ED) provides comprehensive emergency services for adults and children around the clock. The ED includes a six-bed critical care unit and is a primary stroke center designated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. We're recognized for stroke care with the Get With the Guidelines® Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Silver Plusquality achievement award from the American Heart Association.
Our hospital offers comprehensive, personalized, and high-quality inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment services through the Griswold Behavioral Health Center and the Center for Geriatric Psychiatry.
Baystate Medical Practices located in Belchertown, Ludlow, Monson, Palmer, and Wilbraham, offer extensive outpatient services and primary care in the Baystate Wing Hospital service area with specialists in adult family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric medicine.

New Policy for Visiting the Hospital 8/3/2020

Lab Services
Our blood draw center is open Monday through Friday 7 am-7 pm and Saturdays 8 am-noon.
Dining Services
You can find the Baystate Wing Hospital cafeteria on the lower level of the hospital. It is open to visitors seven days a week from 7 am–10 am, 11:30 am–1:30 pm, and 4 pm–6:30 pm.
Gift Shop
The gift shop is temporarily closed due to COVID-19.
Public Announcement
Baystate Wing Hospital is changing the owner of our MRI from UMass to a Baystate affiliated entity as we are no longer affiliated with UMass. By state regulation, this requires that we go through a Determination of Need process, which is the notice that you see posted. There is no change to our service other than the ownership change. MRI services will continue to be offered at Baystate Wing Hospital as they currently exist. Read the notice.
