Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship, UMass Chan - Baystate

Consultation-Liaison Faculty Celebrating 2023 ResidentsOur Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship is a brand new, dynamic training program in a large academic medical center that serves a unique patient population. Our mission is to provide outstanding comprehensive training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry that integrates the care for patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions. Our fellows are trained to work collaboratively in the medical setting and to provide advocacy and education to multidisciplinary treatment teams. Fellows are prepared to work in a variety of practice settings and we assist fellows in defining and attaining their career goals, whether that be in Western Massachusetts or nationally. The program values and supports individualized education and mentoring, fellow and faculty wellness, and work-life balance in a collegial and respectful environment that values diversity and cultural understanding and care of patients. The mission of the program aligns with the mission of Baystate Medical Center, our sponsoring institution: "the charitable mission of Baystate Health is to improve the health of the people in our communities every day, with quality and compassion."
