Adult patients who need inpatient care are usually admitted to the Lynn Katz Oncology Unit, a full-service cancer unit at Baystate Medical Center providing a wide array of inpatient therapies and comfort measures. Specialized units also provide post-operative care to surgical and gynecologic patients. Children with cancer who need inpatient care are admitted to Baystate Children’s Hospital, located within Baystate Medical Center.
