Baystate Pediatric Neurology

Baystate Children's Hospital offers a complete range of services, both inpatient and outpatient, for the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of possible neurologic and development disorders.

We provide the region's only pediatric electroencephology (EEG) and sleep evaluations. Our outpatient EEG laboratory is located within our practice at the Baystate Children’s Specialty Center, and is the only such facility in the region specifically for children. All EEGs are performed by a pediatric EEG technician without sedation.We provide for inpatient video EEG monitoring and ambulatory EEG monitoring as needed, as well as vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) adjustments. Child Life Specialists are on site to make our young patients’ experience as pleasant and stress free as possible.

In addition, we have the only Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic in western Massachusetts, and provide neurologic consultations for Prenatal Service at Baystate Medical Center for the evaluation of possible neurologic disorders.
