Baystate Pediatric Pulmonology

At Baystate Pediatric Pulmonology, we diagnose and treat a full range of respiratory conditions in infants, children, and teens. We collaborate with families to create individualized treatment plans that help children breathe easier and live healthier, more active lives.

We care for children with:

• Asthma and recurrent wheezing
• Cystic fibrosis
• Muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disorders
• Bronchopulmonary dysplasia
• Chronic cough
• Sleep-related breathing issues
• Complex or rare lung conditions

We provide both inpatient and outpatient care and work closely with our core multidisciplinary team including primary care, nutrition, respiratory therapy, and specialty services across Baystate Children’s Hospital.

We are located within Baystate Children’s Specialty Center, Suite 103.

Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic

Baystate Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is a fully accredited pediatric cystic fibrosis clinic. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation recognizes our Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic for meeting the highest standards of care, treatment, and family support for children with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Children with CF benefit from consistent, team-based care. Our team works closely with families to track lung health, manage medications, support nutritional needs, and establish daily routines that support long-term health and stability.

Our team offers:

• Airway clearance education and hands-on instruction
• Support for home equipment use and insurance navigation
• Nutrition and respiratory therapy guidance
• Monitoring of lung function and growth
• Access to mental health resources, support groups, and community programs

We welcome new referrals from your child’s primary care provider or specialist. Our team will review your child’s history and help coordinate the first visit.

Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic

The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic provides easy access to expert CF care for adults. Our multidisciplinary team of pulmonary, nutrition, and respiratory specialists work closely with each patient, offering support and guidance throughout every stage of life. We provide a patient-centered clinic experience designed to promote long-term health, stability, independence, and comfort .

Adults may join our clinic through a referral from their provider or by transitioning from pediatric CF care. Call 413-794-5437 for a referral.
