Interview Season Overview
Our program follows recommendations from the Med-Peds Program Directors Association (MPPDA) regarding timing for interview invites and communication of application status.
For the 2025-2026 Recruitment Season:
- Interview invitations will begin to be sent the afternoon of October 7th
- Subsequent interview invitations will be sent on a rolling basis until December 15th
- Communication will be shared with applicants regarding waitlist placement or if unable to invite for an interview by the mid-interview season
- The number of interview invitations shared are equal to the number of interview spots that we have available
Our program also follows the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM) and Association for Pediatric Program Director (APPD) recommendations to conduct all interviews virtually. While we recognize that virtual recruitment differs from in-person experiences, we are committed to equity, transparency, and providing all of our applicants who interview with us a similar experience in getting to know our program.
