Longitudinal Learning Experiences
Inpatient Pharmacy Service (11 months)
- Staffing- (every third weekend and 1 evening/week)
Ambulatory Clinic/Patient Care Longitudinal (4 experiences; 8 months total)
- Pharmacotherapy: 1/2 Day/week (2 months)
- Mason Square Diabetes Clinic: 1/2 Day/Week (2 months)
- Anticoagulation Clinic: 1/2 Day/Week (2 months)
- Medication History: 1/2 Day/Week (2 months)
Pharmacy Administration Longitudinal (11 months)

- Drug Use Policy/Regulatory
- Management (Human Resources, Evaluations, Financials, etc.)
- Quality/Benchmarking
- Leadership (Leading yourself, Leading others)
Residency Quality Improvement Project (11 months)
- Project design and implementation
- Project Presentation (Vizient Pharmacy Network December Meeting, Eastern States)
- Project write-up
Education/Academia (11 months)
- Journal Club & Case Discussion Presentations
- Continuing Education Presentation
- Precept/Mentor Pharmacy Students
- Advanced Teaching: MCPHS-Worcester or Western New England University (optional)
Drug Information & Non-Formulary Requests On-Call Pager (11 months)
- Cover pager 1 week every 7 weeks
Baystate Health Pharmacy and Therapeutics (3 months)
- Complete one (1) MUE
- Complete one (1) formulary addition, drug class review or guideline/protocol review
Resident Resilience and Wellness Series (11 months)
- 45 minute meetings once monthly, topics and exercises vary
