Midwifery Education Program Academic Calendar

Fall Semester (15 weeks) 

• Semester begins the Tuesday after Labor Day.
• First year student orientation week on-campus for first week.
• Thanksgiving & Friday after Thanksgiving off.
• Finals week 16.
• 3-4 weeks off between Fall and Spring semesters to work, do extra clinical, etc.
• Attendance at ACNM Annual Meeting is expected, date varies.

Spring Semester (15 weeks) 

• Semester begins the Monday before Martin Luther King Day.
• One week vacation in March.
• Finals week 15.
• 2-3 weeks off between Spring and Summer semesters.
• Graduation 1st or 2nd week of May.

Summer Semester (12 weeks) 

• Semester begins the Tuesday after Memorial Day
• Intra-partum boot camp for first year students in first week of the semester.
• Finals week 12.
• 2-3 weeks off between Summer and Fall semesters.
