Routine gynecologic exams and Pap smears performed by an obstetrician-gynecologist or certified nurse midwife can help detect gynecological cancers early before symptoms appear. Talk to your health care provider about how often you should have these exams.

Early Warning Signs of Gynecologic Cancer

Changes in these organs, such as unusual bleeding or pain, could indicate possible cancer. The early warning signs of gynecologic cancer can be easy to miss, but if you frequently experience any of these, you should talk to your health care provider about a screening:
