Mission

Baystate Women in Medicine and Science (BWIMS) serves as an institutional resource by providing a forum to promote policies, practices, and programs that support women’s organizational advancement. BWIMS members are women physicians and advanced clinical providers at Baystate Health.

Goals

  • Promote academic and leadership advancement of women providers
  • Optimize the recruitment and retention of diverse talent
  • Ensure that women providers have access to effective mentors and opportunities for skill development

AAMC GWIMS provides information about professional development opportunities including their Early and Mid-Career Women Faculty Leadership development seminars.
