Gastroenterology Fellowship Program-at-a-Glance

The UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate Gastroenterology fellowship program is dedicated to providing a well-balanced, academic experience to its trainees. Our ACGME-accredited 3-year Gastroenterology program provides comprehensive experience in all consultative and procedural aspects of gastroenterology including advanced endoscopy, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal motility.

Our program emphasizes 28 months of clinical training and includes 8 months of clinical research. Fellows will receive comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of a wide variety of patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
