Baystate's Babies

Your little one’s first few days are an exciting and overwhelming time. Baystate's Babies is a free parenting support program at Baystate Medical Center that helps moms and dad right from the start.

As part of the program, one of Baystate’s parent educators will check in with your family while you’re still in the hospital with your newborn.

During the visit, your educator will:

  • Share the Baystate's Babies Guide, a handbook that describes a baby’s milestones and growth through the first three months and shares tips for supporting new moms
  • Talk about perinatal mood complications, including postpartum depression and anxiety

Your educator will also follow up with a call once you’re settled at home to answer your questions and discuss any concerns.
