Public Announcement
Baystate Medical Center received approval from the Department of Health for new construction of a seven-story addition for the replacement of seventy-eight medical/surgical beds, the addition of eighteen medical/surgical beds and thirty critical care beds, and other ancillary and support service replacements, improvements, and additions. In addition, the original DoN approval authorized the construction of a new building known as the "Hospital of the Future" ("HOF"). State regulation requires that we go through a Determination of Need process, which is the notice you see posted. Read the notice.
