The Baystate Infusion Suite – Springfield – Main Street is part of the Baystate Regional Cancer Program and provides a range of oncology infusion services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other supportive medication infusions/injections. Patients are referred by their healthcare provider, and dedicated pharmacy and administrative teams take care of everything from handling prior authorizations, obtaining necessary medications and appointment scheduling. To ensure the highest standard of care and safety during all treatments, we have dedicated on-site pharmacists available for patients and providers. The Infusion Suite is located down the street from Baystate Medical Center in the D'Amour Center for Cancer Care, providing added safety.
What Should I Know Before My Appointment?
When the appointment is scheduled, patients will receive information about the expected duration of the treatment and any specific guidelines or restrictions, including an individualized teaching/informational session.
Patients are typically allowed to bring one care partner, but if you require additional support, please call ahead to make arrangements. We understand that children may sometimes need to accompany you. We kindly request that they remain quietly occupied with another adult present to maintain a comfortable, safe environment for all patients.
