Magellan Coaching

How does coaching work?

You define the change you want to make, whether it be personal or professional. Your coach offers support to help you create a clear plan of action using SMART goals.

You will meet with the same coach, at regular intervals, by phone or video teleconference until your needs have been met. Your coach will assist you with problem-solving, revising your action plan as appropriate, follow-up, and accountability. Coaches can also provide helpful resources and education to help you stay on track and achieve your goals.

These coaches are available at no-cost through your Magellan Worklife and EAP Support program.  Your coach will help s you clarify your goals, identify obstacles that hold you back, and develop action-based solutions to achieve your goals.  More about Magellan’s coaching program:

• Lifestyle coaching is short-term and the duration varies by individual
• Meet regularly with the same coach by phone or video
• Coaching sessions last up to 45 minutes in length
• Your coach serves as a guide, support and even cheerleader as you set goals during the first session and make further progress in subsequent sessions

Coaches can assist with a variety of issues including:

  • Weight Loss
  • Handling stress
  • Improving relationships
