Applying to the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship

Application Process

All applications are processed through the Fellowship Council.

The following information is required:

Personal Statement
Current CV
3 - 5 letters of recommendation (which should include a letter from the Surgery Residency Program Director).
USMLE/COMLEX scores
ABSITE scores

In addition, applicants to the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship, must:

be expecting to graduate general surgery residency training at the end of this academic year.
be in good academic standing with their program
be board-eligible in their specialty at the start of the year.

Interviews will be conducted virtually using one of the chosen platforms—Zoom, Webex or Thalamus.
