Hematology Oncology Fellowship Curriculum

First Year

  • Hematology Service: 4-5 months
  • Oncology Service: 4-5 months
  • Outpatient and Breast clinics: 1 month
  • Research and Electives*: 2-3 months
  • Hematology Continuity clinic: one half day per week
  • Oncology Continuity clinic: one half day per week

Second Year

  • Hematology Service: 3-4 months
  • Oncology Service: 3-4 months
  • Outpatient and Breast clinics: 2 months
  • Research and Electives*: 3-4 months
  • Hematology Continuity clinic: one half day per week
  • Oncology Continuity clinic: one half day per week

Third Year

  • Hematology Service: 2-3 months
  • Oncology Service: 2-3 months
  • Outpatient and Breast clinics: 3 months
  • Bone Marrow Transplant: 1 month away
  • Research and Electives*: 3-6 months
  • Hematology Continuity clinic: one half day per week
  • Oncology Continuity clinic: one half day per week

*Electives include: Pharmaco-Oncology; Radiation Oncology: Hematopathology: Blood Banking and Pheresis: Pediatric Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology
