Study Title: Effect of Support for Low-Income Mothers of Preterm Infants on Parental Caregiving in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Purpose: This study seeks to understand how to support and address challenges faced by families when their infants are hospitalized in the NICU. We hope that the results of this study will inform policies that can better support other mothers of hospitalized preterm infants.

Eligibility

  • Medicaid eligible mothers of infants born at 24-34 weeks’ gestation.
  • Mother eligible to provide breast milk for infant.
