Randomized Trial of a Postpartum Diabetes Prevention Program for Hispanic Women

A joint research study conducted by UMass Amherst, Baystate Medical Center and UMass Memorial Medical Center on ways to delay or prevent type two diabetes. Many different behaviors may help to reduce risk of type two diabetes. This study compares general health and wellness to nutritional and physical activity lifestyle changes.

Eligibility:
If you are less than 30 weeks pregnant, between 18 and 45 years old and have had an abnormal glucose tolerance test during this pregnancy you may be eligible for this study. Your participation will last up to one year postpartum.
