Parent Groups

At Baystate Health, we understand the value of a support network—especially for new parents. Start building your village of fellow parents at one of our free parent groups. Find parent group details below. You can also sign up for childbirth and parent classes and breastfeeding groups and classes.


It Takes a Village, New Parent’s Gatherings

Share the joys and trials of being a parent at this group, recommended for parents of kids who are not yet walking. The group is facilitated by a Baystate Parent Educator and Baby Behaviorist.

It Takes a Village, Parents of Toddlers Support Group

This group meets in a fun, child-friendly environment and is open to all parents of toddlers. Discuss all the ups and downs of the toddler years—including potty training, setting limits, temper tantrums, and new sibling adjustment.

  • Thursdays, 11 am–12 pm
  • Greenwood Center, 231 Maple Road, Longmeadow

Mother to Mother, Support for Women

Moms join together in a safe, confidential space where women speak the truth about motherhood. Talk with other women about the adjustment to motherhood, balancing day-to-day self and family care, or the struggles of raising a family in today’s world. Babies in arms are welcome. This group is run by trained MotherWoman facilitators.
