The Baystate High Street Health Center, located at 140 High St in Springfield, is currently closed due to a broken water pipe. Providers are reaching out to patients impacted by this closure. Patients should continue to call (413) 794-2511 for care needs, including telehealth. All other provider sites and clinics are open.

Obstetrics Gynecology Residency Conferences

  • 7:00 am: GYN Teaching Rounds - Chapter/Practice Bulletin/Article reviews on key GYN topics

Thursday

  • 8:00 am: Grand Rounds weekly - guest speakers, local speakers, Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) conferences
  • 12:00 pm: Thursday noon conference with resident presentations (Genetics, MFM, and REI)
  • 4pm: Tumor Board

Mon/Tues/Fri (approx.)

  • Noon: OB Teaching Rounds

Monthly

  • Schwartz Rounds
  • Simulation –Team Training, in-situ OB Team Simulations, Communications Simulations with Standardized Patients, and Surgical Skills training.
  • "Wellness Wednesdays"

Annual Conferences

  • The department sponsors the Percy A. Wadman Memorial Lectureship and The Michael Plevyak Memorial Grand Rounds. The conferences are open to the entire department including but not limited to: faculty, community physicians, residents, nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses.
  • The residents also attend regional and national conferences, including but not limited to ACOG, CLC, CREOG/APGO, District I, SMFM, NASPAG, AAGL, SGO.
