Vascular Surgery Fellowship

Become an Outstanding Vascular Surgeon

We develop outstanding vascular surgeons with the knowledge and skills to build productive and fulfilling careers as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders within the field. We strive to provide this training in an inclusive and collegial environment, in line with Baystate's mission to improve the health of the people in our communities every day.

Learn at One of the Busiest Vascular Centers in New England

As one of the busiest vascular centers in all of New England, we provide comprehensive training in all aspects of vascular care. This includes extensive experience in both open and endovascular interventions for peripheral artery disease and aneurysmal disease, including complex aortic endovascular intervention, in addition to carotid disease, venous disease, and vascular lab interpretation. We routinely perform more than 750 major vascular operations annually. Our facilities are state of the art with two hybrid vascular operating rooms and modern portable imaging technology. We also have a strong general surgery residency and undergraduate medical education which affords our fellows the opportunity to hone their teaching and research skills.

Develop Your Teaching and Research Skills

Our strong surgery residency and undergraduate medical education - both part of the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate - allow you to develop your teaching and research skills alongside developing your clinical skills.
