Application Process

All applicants must apply online through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).

• ERAS Application
• Curriculum Vitae
• Medical School Transcripts
• Personal Statement
• Photograph
• Program Director Letter of Recommendation
• Two Additional Letters of Recommendation (if not currently in a training program, one letter must be from your current supervisor/director)
• USMLE /COMLEX Scores
• ECFMG Certificate, if applicable

Applicant Requirements

Prior to appointment to training at Baystate Medical Center, fellows must:

• Complete an ACGME-accredited program in Internal Medicine, Medicine–Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine
• Pass the USMLE Step 3 or COMLEX-USA Level 3 examination
• Fulfill Baystate's Residency and Fellowship Appointment Requirements.

Visa Sponsorship

Fellows are sponsored on J-1 visas through the ECFMG. 

Virtual Interviewing

Interviews will be conducted virtually using one of the chosen platforms—Zoom, Webex or Thalamus.
