Morbidity and Mortality Conference

The M & M conference is held every Thursday at 7:00 am in the Chestnut Conference Center. Residents, fellows, faculty, medical students, and mid-level providers in the Department of Surgery attend the conference. Surgical cases are submitted and procedures, complications, and deaths are reviewed.  This is a valuable teaching conference.

Surgical Grand Rounds

The Surgical Grand Rounds are held every Thursday at 8:00 am in the Chestnut Conference Center. Visiting professors from around the country as well as faculty members from Baystate Medical Center are invited to speak on various interesting topics.
