Hearing loss may be an early symptom of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Join audiologists Jeanne Coburn, Au.D., CCC-A/S; Lauren Linton, Au.D.. CCC-A; and Kirsten Petrarca, Au.D., CCC-A; Baystate Rehabilitation Care, for a discussion about hearing loss as a risk factor that may impact other thinking and memory systems. Topics also covered will be treating hearing loss with the use of hearing aids and cochlear implants.
