Emergency Medicine Education Fellows

Dr. Ryan ClarkRyan Clark, DO

Year of Completion: 2020
Medical School: Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Residency: Baystate Medical Center - Emergency Medicine

Prior to a life in medicine, I worked as an English teacher. I grew up in Taunton, MA and went to nearby Providence College for undergraduate studies where I was also a collegiate swimmer.

I am currently pursuing a Master's in Medical Education at the University of Pennsylvania. My passion for medical education is centered on both medical simulation and developing resident wellness.

My hobbies include movies, all things New England sports, and Stephen King novels.

Dr. Ronnie RenRonnie Ren, MD

Year of Completion: 2020
Medical School:
Residency: UT Health at San Antonio, San Antonio, TX - Emergency Medicine

Hey everyone, my name is Ronnie and I'm one of the new medical education fellows at Baystate! I grew up in Houston, and I went to college and med school there too. I did my EM residency at UT Health at San Antonio. My wife, Lauren, and I moved up here to Massachusetts to continue our medical training (she's a neurology resident in Boston). I'm super excited to live in a state that lets me step out of the house in the summer! (We'll see how I do in the winter).

What drew me to Baystate Emergency Medicine was their warmth and camaraderie. I'm excited to work with Dr. Lutfy-Clayton and Dr. Kellogg who are not only involved in MedEd at a national level but are also interested in advising and mentorship like me! Also, a big shout out to my co-fellow Ryan Clark!

I love talking with students (and residents stalking their own bios?) about the application process, professional development, and getting involved with organized medicine at various levels. Feel free to contact me if interested!
