About This Provider:
As Director of the Neuroendovascular Program, Dr. Duffis is completely focused on treating every patient as if they are a member of his family. He makes certain to keep patients and their families informed and knowing what to expect because it’s exactly what he would want for himself and his loved ones.
With his focus on endovascular treatment of strokes, aneurysms, carotid disease, intracranial atherosclerosis, and cerebral arteriovenous malformations, he is proud to be directing the only Neuroendovascular program in western Mass. He values not only the advanced, state-of-the-art technology at Baystate, but also the communication and cooperation between all the departments and care teams that lead to healthier outcomes.
Fluent in English and Spanish, his mantra is, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” and urges everyone to learn the warning signs of a stroke and to get to the ER if you even suspect a stroke.
