Many miracles were made—and shared—during the 21st annual 94.7 WMAS Radiothon for Baystate Children’s Hospital, which took place on March 8-9, 2022.

The event raised $226,926.50 in support of care for Baystate Children’s Hospital’s youngest patients. These funds will go to support pediatric behavioral health at Baystate Health amid the increased need in this type of support.

“We are so thrilled with the outcome of this year’s Radiothon and even happier about the ways this will help our youngest patients,” said Director of Annual Giving & Events Kathy Tobin. “These funds will go right to work, as we have an immediate need for behavioral health care for children.”

Listeners heard about this need, as well as inspiring stories from patients, families, team members, and event sponsors, as the Kellogg Krew broadcasted from 6 am to 6 pm each day of the event. Many donors even shared their experiences with Baystate Children’s Hospital when they called the Lia Auto Group Phone Bank to donate.

“Our team wants to express a big thank you to our donors and sponsors for making this year’s event successful,” shared Vice President of Philanthropy, Baystate Health, and Executive Director, Baystate Health Foundation, Scott Berg. “Each phone call we received was one more push toward enhancing care for pediatric patients in our community. All of the funds raised during the event stay local to support care for kids at Baystate Health.”

The Baystate Health Foundation would like to thank all who helped to make this event a success! Together, we made miracles for our pediatric patients!

Donations for our pediatric patients are still being accepted. Donate to Baystate Children's Hospital at BaystateHealth.org/Give-Now.
