The 20th annual 94.7 WMAS Radiothon for Baystate Children’s Hospital raised $251,679 in support of care for pediatric patients and families, exceeding the 2020 total by almost $25,000.
The event, which spanned March 9 and 10, was completely virtual, due to COVID-19. The Lia Auto Group Phone Bank was answered by volunteers at their homes and the Kellogg Krew broadcast remotely, sharing inspiring stories from patients and families, team members, and sponsors.
During this year’s event, the team also remembered Jim Raimo, 94.7 WMAS team member and Radiothon volunteer, who showed great dedication to the annual Radiothon and the patients at Baystate Children’s Hospital. Jim passed away in September 2020, but his efforts and enthusiasm for helping our youngest patients will not be forgotten.
The Baystate Health Foundation would like to thank all who helped to make this event a success! Together, we made miracles for our pediatric patients!
Donations for our pediatric patients are still being accepted. Donate to Baystate Children's Hospital.
