ACP Hospitalist designated Dr. Tara Lagu, Associate Professor of Medicine, as one of their 2019 “Top Hospitalists.”
The winners, nominated by their colleagues and chosen by ACP Hospitalist's editorial board for their accomplishments in hospitalist practice, were announced in the November 14th issue.
Honoring Dr. Lagu
Dr. Lagu was recognized because of her diverse research agenda focused on improving quality and safety of care.
She was also honored for her efforts to:
- Understand patient experience
- Increase access for patients with disabilities
- Identify strategies to compare outcomes for patients with heart failure
