Donors from the Baystate Health Foundation Giving Societies came together on Sept. 10 to celebrate at the President’s Evening of Gratitude, hosted by Baystate Health President and CEO Dr. Mark Keroack.

The event, which was held at the Carriage House at the Barney Estate in Forest Park, welcomed more than 140 donors and organizations who have supported the Foundation through our President’s, Legacy, Impact, or Visionary Societies.

Rich Rosenthal, founder and president of the Max Restaurant Group, was honored with the Baystate Health Foundation Impact Award, which recognizes he and the group for their support of Baystate Children’s Hospital through the Max Golf Classic and Baystate Health’s Heart & Vascular Program through the BIG Cocktail Party, both held annually. These two events have raised more than $3.25 million dollars.

Griffin’s Friends was also recognized for its 25 years of support for Baystate Children’s Hospital. With a goal of bringing moments of joy to courageous kids, Griffin’s Friends hosts parties, trips to the theater, amusement parks, and sporting events for patients in the children’s hospital.
