Baystate Franklin Medical Center Reaches Agreement on New Five-Year Contract with MNA

Baystate Franklin Medical Center on Wednesday, May 23, announced it had reached agreement on a new five-year contract with the MA Nurses Association on behalf of the Baystate Franklin Medical Center registered nurses. The final agreement will be presented to the nurses for review and ratification within a week.

Baystate Franklin is committed to staffing models that maintain our flexibility to address individual patient care needs in a sustainable way. Our most recent contract discussions with the MNA were able reach consensus on an approach that positively supports the healthcare needs of our community.

The new contract continues to provide market-competitive wages, benefits and health insurance.

We want to publicly thank our entire team for their focus on providing outstanding care to our community during the negotiations. With the conclusion of this process, the entire Baystate Franklin team is looking forward to advancing a culture that is strong, unified, and dedicated to providing our community with high-quality healthcare.

Baystate Health now has no open union contracts and we have reached agreement on five union contracts within the past 14 months.
