The Board of Directors of the Baystate Wing Hospital Corporation has welcomed two new members: Derek S. Gariepy, Certified Public Accountant at Derek S. Gariepy & Company and Kara Noonan Pear, Director of Human Resources for Noonan Energy Corporation.
DEREK S. GARIEPY
Derek S. Gariepy is a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Derek S. Gariepy & Company an accounting, auditing and bookkeeping service located in Ludlow.
Gariepy and his eight member staff focus on company and individual tax planning and preparation.
He has served as:
- A corporator for Country Bank since 2012 serving on the Community Advisory Council
- Chairman of the Three Rivers Finance Committee
- Treasurer for a local non-profit organization that educated adolescents on substance abuse
For over 14 years, he has coached various Belchertown youth soccer teams.
Gariepy lives in Belchertown with his wife and business partner Jennifer. They have two sons Derek II and Allen who are currently in college.
“I’m looking forward to giving back to the local community that I live in,” said Gariepy.
KARA J. NOONAN PEAR
Kara J. Noonan Pear serves as the Director of Human Resources for Noonan Energy Corporation, a fifth generation family-owned business with more than 125 years as one of the most respected names in home comfort services in the Pioneer Valley.
Noonan Pear holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from American International College and a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College.
Prior to her role at Noonan Energy she served as scheduler for US Representative Richard Neal, and in many roles with State Senator Stephen Brewer.
Noonan Pear lives in Palmer with her husband Daniel Pear and their children Gabriella and Owen.
