Baystate Health expands MIGHTY weight management program for kids

December 20, 2017

Baystate Health's MIGHTY pediatric weight management program (MIGHTY stands for Moving, Improving, and Gaining Health Together at the YMCA) will expand from Springfield to Westfield and Greenfield.

The program, a partnership with Kohl's and the YMCA of Greater Westfield, offers treatment for childhood obesity through exercise, nutrition education, free membership to the YMCA, and more.

Today, 25% of children in the Pioneer Valley are considered obese. The MIGHTY program helps to address this epidemic.
