The Board of Directors of the Baystate Wing Hospital Corporation has welcomed three new members: Sheila Cuddy, Executive Director of the Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation (QVCDC); Darryl Goudreau, Founder and Owner of D & D Fitness; and Julie Quink, Managing Principal of Burkhart Pizzanelli, Certified Public Accountants.
Sheila Cuddy serves as the Executive Director of the Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation, a member-based, non-profit organization committed to economic development that helps small businesses grow and prosper in the 15 towns of the Quaboag Region. Cuddy’s previous experience includes management responsibilities in lending, credit policy and retail sector banking. A western Massachusetts native and 30-year resident of the Quaboag Region, she lives with her family in Warren.
Darryl Goudreau, a native of Ware and founder and owner of D & D Fitness Factory located in Ware, is a personal trainer and commercial landlord. Goudreau purchased Weir River Brick Mill in 1995 where he resides today with his wife Janine. The 36,000-square-foot historical building also houses four local businesses, keeping the building 100% occupied. In 2001, Goudreau co-founded D&D Fitness Factory, which he still owns and solely operates today, employing over a dozen area residents. A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, Goudreau has worked creatively in the art industry with a focus on illustration. Darryl has owned and operated his own illustration business, Goudreau Illustrations; his clients included Disney, Warner Brothers, Hasbro, Golden Books and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Julie M. Quink is the Managing Principal of Burkhart Pizzanelli and has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and consulting, and manages engagements of various size and complexity. Quink is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce, a member of the School Committee of Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School, a member of the Finance Committee of the East Quabbin Land Trust, a member of the Board of Directors for Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc., Treasurer of Hardwick Rescue & Emergency Squad, Inc., and Treasurer of Estate Planning Council of Hampden County. Quink who resides in Hardwick said, “In the changing world of healthcare, it is important to know that we have a committed community partner in Baystate Health and in the Eastern Region. I look forward to assisting Baystate Wing Hospital Corporation as a Director and an advocate in continuing to grow in our region and in providing quality healthcare services to our communities.”
