Baystate Medical Center groundskeeper receives shout out from physician for his green thumb

July 29, 2015

Baystate Medical Center groundskeeper of 11 years, Stephen Pacitti, received a shout-out from Dr. Sarah Haessler in Infectious Diseases recently for his "green thumb."

Dr. Haessler's appreciative note read:

“Steve: I have noticed your extraordinary effort to keep our hospital grounds in top shape day after day for many years. I think you are an unsung hero at Baystate. When our patients, families and employees come to Baystate, they are welcomed by immaculate lawns and flowers and it makes a positive impact on our image. Although I have never met you and had to ask around to find out your name, I have long wanted to give you a shout out for your work ethic and dedication. Thank you!”
