As a way to help ensure that our community members continue to have access to necessary medical care, Baystate Medical Center is hosting two MassHealth renewal sessions in April. The events are designed to streamline the process for thousands of local MassHealth subscribers who need to renew their plans for 2015.
Submit new application
These subscribers, who are required to take action, recently received a letter from the state. It explained that the process for submitting a new benefits application is easy and can be done 24 hours a day online at the Massachusetts Health Connector website.
As an alternative, subscribers can also call 1-877-MA-ENROLL (1-877-623-6765).
For subscribers who may have missed the mailing or would like extra consultation, Certified Account Counselors from Baystate Medical Center will be available on Saturday, April 4th and Saturday, April 18th for personalized sessions. These counselors can help advise subscribers how to navigate the renewal process, ensure family members are insured, and answer any questions pertaining to health benefits.
Appointments for the renewal sessions are required and can be made by calling Baystate Health Link at 413-794-2255 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
