About Baystate Medical Center
We are a 716-bed independent academic medical center. We are the community's major referral hospital, and we provide a wide range of services, including:
In addition to our outstanding care for adults, we also treat children with acute and chronic illnesses at Baystate Children's Hospital, which is located on our main Springfield campus.

Patient and Visitor Entrances
Our Daly and Wesson entrances are open from noon to 8 pm daily. Our Chestnut Building entrance (the main entrance under the canopy) is open for patients only from 5 am to 7 pm daily.
Parking for Patients and Visitors
We offer free parking 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Valet parking services are available at the following locations:
- Daly lobby: 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
- Wesson lobby: 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
- Chestnut Building: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
- Emergency Department: 9 am - noon Monday - Friday

Our Dining Services
We offer three main dining options:
North Café
North Café is our full-service cafeteria.
Location: Daly Building, second floor
Hours: 6 am - 3 am seven days a week
- Breakfast: 6 am - 10:30 am
- Lunch: 11 am - 4 pm
- Dinner: 4 pm - 6pm
- Limited offerings: 6pm - 3am
Atwater's Café in the Marketplace
Atwater's Café in the Marketplace is a bistro-style café option.
Location: Daly Building lobby, third floor
Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 6 am - 6 pm
- Closed weekends & holidays
Chestnut Café
Chestnut Café is a counter-service option.
Location: Chestnut Building, ground floor
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 2:30 pm

Residency and Training Programs
