Thoracic Surgery Curriculum

The service offers an opportunity to manage patients with diseases of the thorax such as lung disease including cancer of the lung, pleural diseases, and management of obstructive lung disease and esophageal disease (including cancer of the esophagus and esophageal dysmotility disorders).  Open and minimally invasive surgical interventions as well as intensive patient care experiences are gained while rotating on this service.
