The Baystate Medical Center PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program is designed for the resident. We strive to offer flexibility and customization to accommodate resident career goals and interest areas. We participate in the ASHP Resident Matching Program and are fully accredited.

Curriculum Summary

  • Core Required Rotations (4 Week Duration): Hospital/Pharmacy Orientation (1 block)); Medicine ICU (3 blocks); Surgery / Trauma ICU (2 blocks); Pediatric ICU (1 block); Heart and Vascular ICU (2 blocks); Emergency Medicine (2 blocks)
  • Elective Rotations - Complete 1 (4 Week Duration): Repeat any Core Rotation, Infectious Disease, Medication Safety/Informatics
  • Longitudinal Learning Experiences (4): Inpatient Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Administration, Residency Research Project, Education/Academia
