Urogynecology & Minimally Invasive Surgery

Goals

This rotation provides the student with an introduction to urogynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Objectives

The student will:
  • Participate in gynecologic surgical procedures
  • Be involved in the evaluation and management in both ambulatory & inpatient settings of women suffering from pelvic support defect and/or urinary incontinence
  • Prepare an oral presentation on a topic pertinent to pelvic anatomy, gynecologic surgery or urogynecology

MUST be applying to Ob/Gyn residency. Successful completion of Medicine and Ob-Gyn Clerkships.
