OB-429 Reproductive Endocrinology Fertillity Elective

Location: Baystate Medical Center, 759 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA
Goals
This elective includes both clinical and laboratory exposure. The student will spend time in the private practice seeing patients and will be involved in their medical and surgical care. Time will also be spent in the Andrology/Ovum Laboratory learning various aspects of reproductive biology. There is an opportunity to become involved in research projects. Students may also spend time in the Wesson Women's gynecology clinic
Objectives
The student will...
- learn the basic science and clinical entity of reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
- participate in the work up and treatment of these patients.
- observe in the laboratory and operating room.
