Goals
The radiology elective offers the student an opportunity to participate in a large active radiology department offering all radiological and imaging procedures. An extensive learning file and library are available and reading assignments will be suggested.
Objectives
The student will...
- discuss his/her objectives and interests with the program director or his assistant at the outset of the elective. Assignment will be arranged on an individual basis to the various subspecialties and subdivisions of the department.
- work with assigned resident in interpretation of radiographs.
- participate in all department conferences as well as selected conferences in other clinical departments.
- review all cases on the weekly department interesting case list.
- make a presentation to the department at the end of the elective.
