Affected Services

As Always, Your Safety is Our Priority

As part of our efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are consolidating services at our outpatient locations. We are also expanding our use of telehealth visits and taking extra precautions when face-to-face care is needed. We want to assure patients that it is safe to come to Baystate Health facilities for care.

We are increasing our use of telehealth video visits for current Baystate Health patients. With telehealth, you can see a provider from the safety and comfort of your home through a mobile device, phone or computer.

Temporary Changes and Closures

Read below for information about services changes and closures. This list will be updated as service and location availability changes. Please call your provider’s office for questions about services and appointments.

Baystate Health Radiology Services Temporary Closures

With the initiation of Phase 2 most restrictions on radiology services have been eliminated.

We are now offering our usual array of diagnostic and interventional radiology services at all sites. This includes screening examinations such as mammography, CT for lung cancer, and bone densitometry. We are prepared to ensure patient and healthcare worker safety with patient screening, PPE, and social distancing at all sites.

Any active COVID-19 patients (or those awaiting test results) will be imaged only at the hospital sites. Please contact your local Baystate Radiology provider or the Chair (4-4645) with any specific questions.
